Many of you are familiar with the vineyard tasting rooms, but if you’re staying in Paso you might be missing out on some of the many gems of the Paso Robles Downtown Wineries.  There are over 20 tasting rooms all of unique character and quality with much to offer.  One such, with some upcoming events is Parrish Family Vineyards.  Read on for what they’ve got in store…

Heritage Special

With Vintage Zinfandel Weekend March 16-18th, we wanted to celebrate our heritage with a Zinfandel Special! In 1927, our grandfather planted 540 acres of grapes in Atascadero (nearby town to Paso) and Zinfandel was one of the varieties. This is why our Zin was brought to the menu in memory of him. 
Enjoy 15% off through out March on the 2014 Zinfandel!

Celebrate with Le Vigne Winery, the AVA we call home with Vintage Paso: Zinfandel Weekend! On Friday, come to the tasting room for a gourmet pairing of unique cheeses and estate wines—including Zinfandel from our Paso Robles appellation series. Our focus is in making varietally expressive, fruit forward wines that boast their vineyard origin, including Rhone, Bordeaux, and Italian varietals such as our new release:
2015 Le Vigne Cuore della Vigna
(Heart of the Vineyard)

Let us know if you’d like to “hop off” at e Vigne for one of the days.  You will need to RSVP yourself and advise us in advance if you want to go to the cooking demonstration on Sunday.

Wine Line WINS
Wine Line was excellent!!! We got picked up at our bed and breakfast by Larry (great guy) promptly at 10:30am. He had snacks and water in the van and gave us a run down of the whole day. He told us about each winery on the provided list and said we could pick any 4 or 5 we’d like and he’d make it happen.
We picked up 3 more couples and as a group agreed on our first winery. After that, if we wanted to break off and go somewhere else and join up later, we could. Larry would drive us anywhere we wanted. He knew everyone at every winery and had great recommendations. We ended up staying all together and becoming friends with the other couples. We decided to eat our preselected lunch at the third winery and it was a perfect little break. The day flew by without a hitch and had so much fun. We were back at the hotel and in the hot tub by 5pm.
Overall it was an amazing deal and a day we won’t forget!! Thanks Larry!
