Spring Time Events at RIO SECO

 Ah, those sweet smells of the season are upon us…Spring Training, that is!  Nothing like a grass infield, the sound of a wooden bat, and a little MVP! What could be better at RIO SECO than talking baseball AND drinking wine! Hope this season will have your favorite team and  favorite wines!
ZINFANDEL WEEKEND IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!
Join Rio Seco for their “Zin – A- Licious” OPEN HOUSE on Friday, March 15th, 6-9 p.m. as they celebrate the wonderful world ofZINFANDEL, Paso Robles’ speciality and one of RIO SECO’S favorites! Zin-inspired nibbles, live music, Diamond Club wine pick ups, and much, much more. CASINO NIGHT!
Always a lot of fun! Join Rio Seco and their Relay For Life Teams for a night of Black Jack, Craps, Texas Hold ‘Em. Roulette, Bingo, 50/50 drawings and more….March 23rd, 5-9 p.m. here at RIO SECO.  Your tickets ($35 advance, $45 night of) include fantastic food – Tri Tip BBQ, beans, salad, bread, desserts, PLUS, $100 in script money, 2 raffle tickets and entry into to door prize!  Don’t miss out! If all this isn’t enough to filll your calendar, don’t forget the annual American Heart Association Wine Country Heart Walk, Sunday, April 7th, hosted by the Union Road Wineries and held at the beautiful Pear Valley Vineyards.  Rio Seco’s team captain  is Maria Mancini-Moss. They’re already getting in shape for the 5K hoop-de-doo! More details coming soon. Hope you can join in!

After 17 years of helping wonderful people to “hop on” The Wine Line and experience the glory of Paso Robles wine country, and for several years, Santa Barbara,  it is with a complex mix of bittersweet emotions that I am announcing my departure. The reasons are various and personal, but I am infinitely gratified by all the years of operation and being entrusted by our valued customers to assist in creating forever memories for them, and even ourselves in the process!

As sad as I am to exit, I would love to empower some adventurous spirit (perhaps a couple?) to carry the mantle and continue the legacy. If you, or someone you know, might be interested in buying The Wine Line, please contact me. We have the aforementioned years of established business and goodwill, particularly in Paso, a solid repeat customer base (Wine Linos!), hundreds of 5 star reviews across the various platforms, a wonderful website, trademark, and two vehicles for a turn-key operation!

Whatever the case may be…I want to THANK YOU ALL for the years of business (some of you for your 22 times with us!). I cannot adequately express my gratitude, and the pride I feel for all we have done and experienced together!
