Are you in for something outside the box…or outside the tasting room, more precisely?!? The wonderful people at Red Soles’ are offering you to join them on a “walkabout” to see what winemaking is all about, in the vineyard and eventually out of the bottle. Read on for details and RSVP info…
Red Soles Owner, Randy Phillips, will lead our group on a pleasant walking tour of Miracles Ranch, right from the Red Soles Barrel Room. Learn the nuances of this hundred-acre property while out amongst the vines. He’ll explain some of the Red Soles sustainable growing philosophy as we trek from tasting station to tasting station in the vineyard.
The afternoon will be rounded out with a bit of comparative barrel tasting of some up and coming Red Soles vintages.Taste the same wine out of different barrels to experience the difference that oak makes.
Upon our return, we’ll enjoy a tasty lunch by Crush Catering in the Barrel Room.
Buffet Style Lunch includes:
- Pane Toscano with local Kiler Ridge olive oil.
- Organic Field Green Salad with heirloom cherry tomatoes, basil vinaigrette, spiced pepitas, feta cheese, shaved cucumbers, quinoa.
- Grilled Summer Vegetables with aged balsamic and evoo. Smoked Pork Sausage and Shrimp Farro Paella with local vegetables, syrah sofrito, purple flowering kale.
- Dark Chocolate Brownies with sea salt, port sap.
$48 for members, $58 for guests. RSVP Required.
