(1/2 hour break between 7-7:30)

Decorated and lit by a team of professionals, their 16,000 square feet of underground caves turn into one of the spookiest tickets in town. Brave souls age 10 and older recommended for this Halloween fun, but there will be plenty of games for the little ones above ground as well. (Parents, the Tasting room will be open for complimentary wine tasting as well! Just ask for the CA-BOO-nay!)

* A $5 donation goes directly to children’s charities at Kinship Center San Luis Obispo County Program Center. The Kinship Center is a California non-profit agency dedicated to the creation, preservation and support of foster, adoptive and relative families for children who need them.

Rotta Winery – Jake Keller Benefit – 10/17

Greetings Wine Linos,

Rotta Winery is gracious enough to host a benefit to honor Jake Keller who was tragically killed by a drunk driver on 10/3/10. Jake was the son of one of a driver for The Grapeline.  The family has requested that half of the proceeds from the benefit go to Mother’s Against Drunk Driving and the other half to Culinary Arts Academy from which Jake graduated.  Rotta is donating 25% of all sales, as well.  Cash donations will be accepted throughout the day.

Get ready to join the harvest fray as they host a hands-on (and feet-on) harvest demonstration. Learn all the tricks of the harvest trade, from leaf pulling to crop thinning to ripeness measuring. You will then pick and stomp your own grapes, putting your personal imprint on the 2010 vintage.

Your labors will be rewarded with a traditional Swiss-style harvest dinner prepared by Swiss Chef and Director of Hospitality, Martin Columberg.

Comedy in the Cave

Loosen up in Robert Hall’s underground Caverns with a tickling performance from a local favorite comedian, Brett Riley, whose motto is “Forget the Formula!”. Accompanying Bret is Brent Morin, who has worked as a production staff member for the short lived Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien. This hilarious show along with some deliciously amusing Robert Hall wine will keep your spirits up all night!

Tickets are $20 for Cavern Club members and $25 for non-members and include your entry and a glass of wine. Doors open at 7pm and comedy begins at 7:30pm. Additional wine and snack items will be available to purchase. Ticket holder must be 21 years of age and please leave all outside alcohol at home.

Cavern Club Extravaganza

Calling all Cavern Club members! Because Robert Hall truly appreciate you and you deserve a sneak peak at what they have been up to this harvest, join them for the annual Cavern Club Extravaganza. Come taste and learn about their library and newly released wines from their winemaking team. Enjoy gourmet food and relax to the tunes from a true troubadour guitarist, Jeffrey Peters in the underground Cavern on Sunday, October 17th from 11am until 2pm.

Admission is FREE for Cavern Club members and reservations are preferred.
