Wanna go wine tasting with the most loyal member of your family?  Wanna let him/her mingle with some others?  Well, here’s your chance at the upcoming “Paws for a Cause” at Koehler Winery in beautiful Foxen Canyon.  Here are the details:

Join Koehler Winery, June 9th from 10:00am – 2:00pm, for a walk through the vineyards to raise awareness and funds for our friends at DAWG (Dog Adoption & Wellness Group) in Santa Barbara and the American Cancer Association. 100% of proceeds from admissions and raffle ticket sales go directly to these two wonderful organizations!

Early registration tickets are only $25.00 and tickets at the door are $30. Dogs and children 5 or younger are free!

Eventbrite - "Paws for a Cause" One-Mile Charity Walk

Participants can walk either a 1-mile or 2-mile course any time between 10:00am and 12:00pm. Makers along the trail will define the 1-mile route from the 2-mile route. From 12:00-2:00pm, wine tastings for those 21 and old as well as lunch from Cecco Ristorante in Solvang will be complimentary for all participants!

During this lunch and mingling period, there will be a raffle to support the ACS and DAWG as well.  Category One tickets are $3 each and Category Two tickets are $10 each. The prizes for each category are:

Category One

  1. The Beauty & Pampering basket
  2. The Pooch’s Package (items for your dog)
  3. The New Frontiers Market basket
  4. Gift certificate to The Willows Restaurant at the Chumash Resort
  5. Gift certificate to Café Quackenbush in Los Alamos

Category Two

  1. The Koehler Winery gift basket
  2. Overnight stays at:​​​

  • El Encanto Hotel, Santa Barbara
  • Santa Ynez Inn

You can purchase raffle tickets either in-person at the event or, if you cannot attend the walk, by calling the tasting room at (805) 693-8384 or emailing Nicole at nicole@koehlerwinery.com. Let them know which prize or prizes you’d like to enter to win and we’ll put your ticket in the mix at the event!

Rio Seco’s Wine Fest and Summer Happenings!Customer Testimonial – 5.10.13

After 17 years of helping wonderful people to “hop on” The Wine Line and experience the glory of Paso Robles wine country, and for several years, Santa Barbara,  it is with a complex mix of bittersweet emotions that I am announcing my departure. The reasons are various and personal, but I am infinitely gratified by all the years of operation and being entrusted by our valued customers to assist in creating forever memories for them, and even ourselves in the process!

As sad as I am to exit, I would love to empower some adventurous spirit (perhaps a couple?) to carry the mantle and continue the legacy. If you, or someone you know, might be interested in buying The Wine Line, please contact me.
