All-Star Benefit Concert to SLO Down Cancer – Thu. 10/23

Greetings Wine Linos! This post is of a more serious note than all of our fun winery events we let you know about.  Having lost my mother at a young and vibrant 56 and my cousin at an extremely young 33, I say CANCER SUCKS!! Some musicians and “do-good’ers” have gotten together to raise funds to fight cancer.  Here’s the info and link to their FB page.

Benefit for SLO Noor Clinic for free cancer screenings for SLO County residents. Performers include Proxima Parada, Shadowlands, Patrick Contreras, and Jody Mulgrew & The Skeleton Crew. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. VIP tickets are $35, which includes a pre-show party with appetizers and beverages, and band meet and greet with photo.
