Being Thankful for What You Have!
Greetings Wine Linos,
I rarely express my personal opinions here. I would much rather let you know what is going on in the wonderful world of Paso Robles’ Wine Country; because there is so much here to relish!
That being said, tomorrow is an extremely meaningful, and my favorite, holiday. It is a day of saying thanks. There is no pretense, no pomp & circumstance, no gift exchange, just friends and family coming together and sharing their love for one another.
It is a day when I try to focus on what I have, rather than, what I have not. I could go on ad nauseum, but a few things for which I am extremely thankful are: for knowing, being raised and educated and loved by Sue & Jean Westfall (I miss you) and by Floyd Gaugh III (and importantly that I still have you), the loving rest of my family, Rudi (my 10yr old Staffordshire Terrier), my dear, dear friends, the little B (my Godson), my 5 senses, music, art, wine, Paso Robles wine, and, I am truly thankful, for my customers….
Again, I could go on and on, but you get the picture.
I wish you all a wonderful, fulfilled and extremely Happy Thanksgiving!
Until the next drop.
Jason Westfall
