•The Alchemist 2006- An inky purple color, this wine shows classic blackberry and creme de cassis with a beautiful texture that's a bit lighter than the others, but has the perfect amount of acid. 85%Syrah 15% Cabernet

•The Ripper 2006- This wine shows beautiful sweet black cherry and cassis but has a finish of some traditional Grenache flavors like strawberry and kirsch with some gorgeous oak integration. 90% Grenache, 10% Syrah

•Vertigo 2006- The Grenache and Syrah complement each other beautifully in this wine, which is in made in the New World style of "rare back and let it rip"!!! 90% Syrah, 10% Grenache

•Fracture 2005- This syrah has heady blackberry and cassis flavors intermixed with some crushed rock and floral notes. 100% Syrah

•Remnant 2005- An opaque inky purple color, a gorgeous nose of graphite, creme de cassis, ceder, and new oak. Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot

•White 2005- Taste notes of orange marmalade, honey suckle and tropical fruit. 57% Roussanne, 47% Viognier

Brian Benson Cellars

Price Range: $24-35

•2005 Merlot- 100% Westside Paso fruit from Cougar Ridge Vineyards. This wine is nice and smooth with great fruit flavors and a nice tannin structure perfect for aging. Aged in French and American oak this wine can be aged from 1-5 years.

•2005 Cabernet- A blend of 3 different Eastside and Westside Paso vineyards, this wine was aged in mostly French oak for 16 months and has deep cherry flavors with a slight hint of pepper. Perfect with red meat or pasta. This wine can be aged from 1-7 years.

•2004 Karma- 6 different Paso Robles Vineyards makes up this classic Bordeaux blend. Real rich and well balanced this wine has great cherry and raspberry flavors great with pasta and red meat.

•Ed’s Red- A collaboration between Roth Originals and Brian Benson Cellars. A blend of Cabernet, Merlot, and Zin. Two designs to choose from or get both!!! Turquoise/Blue & Brown/Tan. Only 250 cases made of each!!!

•2006 Azimuth-Made from an intriguing blend of 51% Syrah, 19% Grenache, 14% Mourvedre, and the rest Tannat and Alicante Bouchet, the stunning 2006 Azimuth offers up scents of graphite, melted licorice, blueberries, blackberries, espresso roast, and pain grille. Its dense purple color, complex aromatics, and intense flavors suggest this full-bodied, well-structured beauty should drink nicely for 7-10 years.- Robert Parker, June 2008

•2006 Companion-The 2006 Companion, a striking blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Syrah, 10% Mourvedre, and 10% Tannat, is the most opulent and sexiest wine of this trio. Full-bodied with plenty of smoked meat, black cherry, black currant, licorice, and incense characteristics, it is a complex, dense, chewy, rich effort that demonstrates that Paso Robles’ finest reds are often blends rather than single varietal offerings. •2006 Syrah-“The impressive 2006 Syrah Russell Family Vineyard exhibits an opaque purple color as well as beautiful aromas and flavors of blackberries. Dense, full-bodied, and voluptuously-textured, this is another mouthfilling, savory, broadly nuanced Paso Robles Syrah. •2007 Kissin' Cousin-Aptly named, this Rhone white blend takes three of our favorite white grapes and rolls them into what we consider a perfectly inbred family portrait. We hope you agree.

•2007 Pink-In French, rose' means Pink. We really didin't need to go too much further on exploring names for this limited production, tasting room-only rose.

Castoro Cellars

Price Range: $9-37

•Fume Blanc 2007- A portion of this wine is barrel fermented and aged three months sur lies, then blended with the remaining lot for an additional month. This is a fresh and crisp vintage, with classic Sauvignon Blanc aromas. The mouth is clean and has lingering citrus notes.

•Gerwurztraminer 2006- A delectable off-dry white perfect for your Summer soirees. Pairs well with spicy foods such as curries, stir-frys and sushi.

•Pinot Grigio Reserve 2007- The ultimate aperitif wine, sure to get your party started in style. Goes nicely with scallops in cream sauce!

•Marsanne Reserve 2007- Unique it's own right, you will note melon and hazelnut aromas with a slight bit of honey. Enjoy slightly chilled with oven baked seafood or light meat entrees.

•Viognier Reserve 2007- Our 2007 Viognier Reserve is primarily from Estate grown fruit next to our winery in the rolling hills of San Miguel which is within the Paso Robles appellation. A cold fermentation in stainless steel tanks retained its inherently floral varietal aromas. After fermentation, the wine was transferred to small oak barrels for four months to add some complexity. This Viognier is dry and crisp with high flavor intensity.

•Pinot Blanc 2006 Bien Nacido- From the famed Bien Nacido Vineyard in Northern Santa Barbara County. The cooler growing conditions allow the fruit to mature slowly which creates lovely floral qualities and a complex, distinctive flavor profile.

•Chardonnay 2006 Central Coast- This wine is rich in every sense. We have blended several local vineyards; Hog Canyon, Blind Faith and Abernathy, to create a complex wine full of citrus and apple notes. Roughly fifty percent of this vintage underwent barrel fermentation. The barrel fermenting and subsequent aging has contributed oak aromas with a lush mouth feel and a lingering crisp finish.

•Chardonnay Reserve 2006- A couple barrels really stood out among the '06 vintage. These were given additional time on new French oak to bring out a more traditional flavor profile only found in a fine White Burgundy.

•Tango 2006- The third release of our annual Reserve White Blend. It is made up of 41% Roussanne, 33% Chardonnay, 14% Pinot Grigio and 12% Pinot Blanc.

•Pinot Noir Blind Faith 2006- From the Estate Vineyard, this wine has overtones of ripe cherries with hints of baking spices and vanilla.

•Syrah 2004- The 2004 grapes for this wine were sourced from the same well-tended vineyards in the Estrella area of the Paso Robles appellation. In the aroma you will find a high intensity and balance of berry fruits, violets and oak. The mouth feel has characteristically moderate levels of tannin, yet is lush. The bright fruit and oak flavors linger on the palate.

•Syrah 2005 Blind Faith Estate- The 2005 grapes for this wine were sourced from our Blind Faith Estate Vineyard. In the aroma you will find a high intensity and balance of berry fruits, violets and oak. The mouth feel has characteristically moderate levels of tannin, yet is lush. The bright fruit and oak flavors linger on the palate.

•Barbera 2005- This wine is a testament to why the Italians are such a gregarious people; smooth with a hint of spice, and loaded with character.

•Merlot 2004- The 2004 vintage in Paso Robles produced intense fruit flavors and aromas. The weather was nearly perfect which allowed the grapes to reach full maturity with great balance in acid and sugar. You will find that this Merlot has a subtle but full nose of fruit and oak. We use a combination of newer and older American oak barrels to attain the barrel aged character without an overbearing oak component.

•Cabernet Franc Reserve 2005- This wine is grown in the heart of Paso Robles, an ideal climate for making quality red wines. You will find this wine of medium body while elegant in character. The aroma is of ripe fruit with flowery notes, plus it has the added complexity of oak vanillins. The tannins are moderate and the wine will continue to age favorably over the next several years.

•Malbec 2005- One of the traditional "Bordeaux varietals", Malbec has characteristics that fall somewhere between Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. A midseason ripener, it can bring very deep color, ample tannin, and a particular plum-like flavor component to add complexity to claret blends.

•Petit Verdot 2005- A favorite grape to blend with, this is our fourth bottling of this varietel on its own and we are more than pleased with its rich ,complex character.

•Cabernet Sauvignon 2005- 2005 was a near perfect growing vintage. The grapes had great intensity and color. In addition to Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine contains Petite Verdot and Merlot to add complexity. This wine is packed with rich berry and full fruit capped with a toasty oak note. The finish fills your mouth with lush flavors that are not blown away with excessive.

•Due Mila Sei 2004- The latest in our series of beautiful "Meritage" style blends.If you enjoy wines with a lot of barrel character, forward fruit and loads of complexity; this wine is for you. A tasting room favorite!

•Petite Syrah Reserve 2006-Intense in color and body, this wine exhibits aromas of chocolate and coffee. Extensive oak aging has softened the rich tannins and helped create a very full-bodied wine.

•Petite Sirah 2005 Stone’s Throw- Estate grown fruit and aged just over a year in American and Hungarian oak; this is a fine example of how expressive Paso Robles Petite Sirah's can be.

•Primitivo 2005- From Castoro’s certified organic Whale Rock vineyard; this Zinfandel is crafted in an Italian style. Decant it and serve with smoked meats and pungent cheeses.

•Zinfandel 2005 Paso Robles- Created from vineyards in the Templeton area of the Paso Robles appellation. Very intense ripe fruit prevails as the grapes are generally picked at over 24° brix giving a hint jamminess to the wine. You will find typical Zinfandel fruit with slight raisin and spice notes. Our Paso Robles Zinfandels routinely win Double-Golds and Best of Class in the wine competitions.

•Zinfandel 2006 Zinfusion- a marriage of a select few vineyards that complement each other to produce a unique wine that showcases Paso Robles Zinfandel. This wine is a Zin lovers dream wine! You will be engulfed in ripe and jammy fruit.

•Zinfandel 2005 Cobble Creek- This wine is from vineyards that surround Niels and Bimmer Udsen's home and the tasting room. All the grapes are grown in the traditional head pruned style with limited production. These grapes are grown to produce wines of distinction with deep color and flavor extraction. This vineyard tends to exhibit great raspberry fruit notes. As you enjoy the bouquet take notice of the elegant fruit and ripe plum aromas coupled with the spiciness characteristic of rich Zinfandels.

•Zinfandel 2005 Whale Rock Estate- Explosively spicy and jammy, this is a big Zin in all the right places. Explore your sensorial boundaries if you dare! -Organically grown-

•Zinfandel 2005 Late Harvest “Port”-Castoro states to have perfected the method for making this wine. Selecting ten rows from an especially chosen Vineyard and netting the vines to protect them from birds. The grapes are then left to hang and raisin up for about one month after the primary picking. This creates grapes of unmatched intensity and sugar. The raisins soak up juice and more sugar is released as the juice ferments. The fermented juice is fortifyied with distilled wine spirits to stop the fermentation and maintain the proper sugar balance. This creates an intense wine, full of plum and spice.

•White Zinfandel- The wine's bouquet is full of fruit characters, berries, cherry, and watermelon though not overly intense. The flavors are delicate and full of the Zinfandel fruit, all this is balanced with a slight bit of sweetness to make this off dry wine clean and brisk in the finish.

•Muscat Canelli 2007- The fresh fruit and flowery aromas are just as intense in the wine as they were in the fruit.

• Muscat Canelli 2003 Late Harvest- The grapes came from Castoro’s Stone's Throw Vineyard and some of the rows were tagged before harvest for the extended ripening. The results produced a very aromatic wine with hints of apricots and pears. Fortification stopped the fermentation and retained the fruit's natural sweetness.

Dark Star Cellars

Price Range: $12-35

•2005 Ricordati- The 2005 Ricordati is another example of our “new generation” of wines. New fermentation regimes and the use of all Westside fruit makes this Ricordati the finest vintage to date. Ricordati (always remember) Is a complex Bordeaux style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (40%), Merlot (40%), Cabernet Franc (10%), Malbec (5%), and Petite Verdot (5%). In the winery's thirteen year history this wine has won 18 Gold Medals and a Best In Class at International Wine Competitions. Deep, Dark, Cherry, Plum, Raspberry, Maple. Excellent with Pastas, Red Sauces and Meats.

•2005 Cabernet Sauvignon- This Cabernet is really full bodied. On the nose it’s deep cherry and strawberry jam with spice that melts into a thick berry mouth framed in full tannins that linger on the finish. That’s my best “wine geek” descriptor yet! The real story on this wine is, it’s yummy. “Yummy” is my favorite technical term. If you want to know pH, TA, Brix, yeast strains, an ML nutrients, stop by with some beer and I’ll make your eyes glaze over with techno babble!

•2005 Cabernet Franc- This is the first year I've done a Cab Franc bottling. This Cab Franc was grown at the Westside Ranch and has always been used in our Ricordati. For some inexplicable reason I bottled up 100 cases on it's own.

•2005 Merlot- This wine ROCKS! It exhibits plum, white pepper, strawberry jam, and maple syrup. I love this wine! It's really amazing to me how the popularity of Merlot has gone down since the movie "Sideways" (which I have yet to see). I guess the masses are comfortable with Hollywood Producers deciding what wine they should like. That's ok, I don't make my wine for the masses anyway.

•2005 Anderson Road- Anderson Road is a killer blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (45%),Syrah(45%)and Petite Syrah (10%). Very unique. I didn’t spend a lot of time on the name (check our address) but I did spent a lot of time coming up with a really memorable wine. I really try to be humble, but sometimes it just doesn't work out

•2005 Zinfandel- 2005 Zinfandel. Part of the "new wave" wines to roll out from my humble little shack. Deep color and aromatics showcase the new fermentation protocals I started in 2005. Again I could bore you with Brix, pH, TA and yeast strains but I'd rather use the technical term of "Bitchen"! Yes, I am over fifty and I'm not handling it very well.

•Zinfandel Port- Rocket Fuel Zinfandel Port. I love this wine! When you have this Zin Port with raspberry cream chocolates... You'll see God!

Donati Family Vineyard

• 2005 DFV Claret Estate- This blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, & Petite Verdot shows ripe red fruit on the nose, with dark fruit, chocolate and dusty notes on the palate. Well-integrated tannins give the wine an easy- drinking style that will satisfy now, and continue to improve in bottle for several years to come.

• 2005 DFV Syrah- 2005 marks the second vintage of Syrah harvested from the Estate Vineyard in Paicines. Located at one of the highest and steepest points on the property, the Syrah block is planted in exceptionally well-drained decomposed granite soils. This helps keep berry size minimal due to the limited water availability. The resulting fruit, dense in color and rich in tannins and flavor intensity, was fermented in small open-top tanks to extract every nuance from the berries and skins.

• 2006 DFV Pinot Grigio- Our very first version of this fascinating varietal, the 2006 Donati Family Vineyard Pinot Grigio was crafted in the style of the finest Northern Italian whites. This choice of style reflects the fact that cooling afternoon breezes flowing through our high-elevation vineyard site at the crest of the Paicines Hills provide balanced acidity to our grapes. The final product displays a bright, fruity nose with a rich nutty character that lingers in the finish.

• 2004 DFV Merlot Estate- Richly expressive in character, deeply fruity and solidly colored, our Merlot expresses exactly what this fine Bordeaux variety is all about. 91% Merlot / 9% Cabernet Sauvignon.

• 2005 DFV Cabernet Sauvignon Estate- At Donati Vineyards, the Cabernet vines are thinned to extraordinary levels to achieve exacting concentration of flavor and color, as well as lush, mouth-filling tannins. This fine Cabernet speaks volumes about the dedication and tireless effort the Estate Vineyard staff has put into this project, from vine to bottle.

• 2007 DFV Pinot Blanc- The small berries yielded from this hillside site provide good concentration of flavors and acidity, both essential elements in styling the perfect Chardonnay wine. Delicate in overall feel, medium in weight, the wine is richly textured and flavored, and is immediately accessible. Its balanced acidity should provide it with the ability to satisfy for many years to come. 80% barrel fermentation French Oak, 20% stainless steel.

Eagle Castle Winery

•2007 Chardonnay- This Chardonnay has an excellent floral bouquet that includes pears, apple and vanilla. On the palate the wine is smooth and fruity, while also maintaining a bright, yet balanced mid-palate. The finish is clean, refreshing and without astringency.

•2007 Viognier- Pineapple and Apricot fill the glass. This Viognier has a fruity introduction with a light smooth mid-palate. The finish is clean and refreshing with a touch of orange zest.

•2007 Syrah Rose´- Hints of strawberries and raspberries fill the bouquet of this popular dry Rosé. The introduction is bright and fruity, with a balanced cranberry midpalate. The finish is light with a delicate hint of pomegranate. Perfect for a weekend picnic or day at the beach.

•2003 Merlot- Plums, roses and eucalyptus come forth on the bouquet of this pleasant Merlot. An introduction of cherries compliments a smooth mid-palate and a delicately rounded finish.

•2006 Trinity- Cherries, Cloves, Vanilla and a hint of Sarsaparilla dance on the nose of our exciting new Merlot based blend. A fruity introduction continues through to a rounded mid-palate. The finish is dry, balanced, and bright.

•2002 Syrah- A medley of dark berries fills the bouquet. On the palate, fruit flavors are complimented by a richness that adds depth and complexity. Enjoyable as an accompaniment to quail, duck or venison.

•2006 Royal Red- With Cassis, Cloves, Spice and Toast on the nose this 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 60% Syrah blend is fruit filled and alive on the palate. The finish is smooth and long with dark fruit and balanced tannins.

•2003 Cabernet Sauvignon- Red fruit, cinnamon and cassis, combine to form the smooth and rich smell of chocolate velvet cake. Smooth introduction with a gradual increase in intensity through the mid-palate. Finish is round with a full bodied texture as ripe tannins cling to the palate.

•2005 Zinfandel- White pepper, sage, and minerals on the nose, this Zinfandel is racy on the palate, exuding fresh and stewed plums from the intro through the mid-palate. The finish is dry with dried raisins and granite/mineral lingering on the palate.

•2007 Majestic Muscat Canelli- A crisp and delicate sweet wine, with hints of honey, apricots and orange zest. Its balanced mouthfeel and clean finish compliment a variety of light desserts or fruit dishes.

•2003 Friar’s Cheer- Smooth and rich, this "sticky" port-style Zinfandel/ Syrah blend is an excellent pair with chocolate deserts or your favorite cigar.

•2005 Petite Sirah- The bouquet consists of Black Cherries, with hints of Mint and Dark Chocolate. The mouthfeel is round & full-bodied, full of balanced tannins, producing a rich lingering finish of cherries, vanilla and toast.

•2006 Barbera- This popular Barbera has plums and allspice on the nose. A Delicate fruity introduction with a smooth and rounded mid-palette leads to a full, round and smooth finish with a light hint of black pepper.

•2007 “Naked” Chardonnay, Santa Barbara- “Naked” is our expression for a No-Oak style of winemaking. The fruit was fermented in 100% stainless steel and NOT put through malolactic fermentation, in order to maintain the natural acid balance. The Chardonnay exhibits crisp apple, white peach, and pear, finishing long with hints of citrus and mineral. Drink Naked often!

•2006 “Old Vine Cuvee” Zinfandel, California- We have such a great wealth of Zinfandel that we have the ability to put together a fantastic multi-appellation Zin Blend. On the nose the wine has layers of berry fruit and anise aromas with hints of spice. On the palate, blackberry and spicy plum fruit with a rich mouth feel trailing to a velvety toasted oak finish. Enjoy with a friend!

•2006 “The Maverick” Zinfandel, Amador County- The 100-plus-year old vines of the original Grandpere Vineyard, along with the 40- year old vines of The Deaver and Linstead Vineyards produce a wine that is chewy and spicy, rich with blackberry fruit and a hint of velvet vanilla oak. Blended with a touch of Syrah from the Bailey Vineyard. Maverick…The Jam Bomb...mischievous fun!

•2006 “The Sophisticate” Zinfandel, Sonoma- Our 2006 Sonoma Zin was kissed with a touch of Petite Sirah and aged in small French and American oak barrels for 14 months. This wine has a sexy nose with velvet vanilla oak tones, followed by rich, spicy berry fruit and a hint of cedar. Big flavors, yet refined and stylish. The James Bond of Zinfandel…he will seduce you.

•2006 “The Biker” Zinfandel, Paso Robles- The Dusi and Preston Zin vineyards, with their rocky, calcareous soils, grow low yield vines, producing fruit of intense concentration. A splash of Mourvedre lends an extra kick in the mid-palate. The Biker has blackberry, anise spice and vanilla on the nose. Rich, black fruit and spice, lingering to a silky vanilla oak finish. Biker rocks!

•2006 “Heretic” Petite Sirah, Paso Robles- As the creator of Heretic I beseech, implore, demand that you SCREAM at complacency (merlot). CRUSH conformity (cabernet). LIVE a life less ordinary… BE the Heretic…drink REAL wine(eclectic alternative varietals). Old vine Petite Sirah: Big, rich layers and layers of black fruit and spice. REAL LIFE…grab it!

•2006 “Anarchy” Central Coast (Syrah, Mourvedre, Zinfandel)- I give you ANARCHY... I wanted to think outside the box and create an unconventional Rhone Blend. The blend is based on Syrah for that velvet mouthfeel and rich fruit, Old Vine Zin for spice and that brambly backbone, and Mourvedre provides some anise and makes the whole blend resonate. If you like the Rhone this wine will blow you away!

•2006 “Peasant” Paso Robles (Syrah, Mourvedre, Grenache, Counoise)- This traditional Rhone blend is 33% Syrah, 37% Mourvedre, 21% Grenache and 9% Counnoise. On the nose, smokey black fruit and spice, vanilla crème brulee. On the palate, rich black fruit spice and anise finishing long into sexy vanilla oak. Picture a night with Bridget Bardot wrapped in velvet.

•2006 “Loco” Paso Robles, Tempranillo Blend- Tempranillo from the "Tres Cajones Vineyard" in Templeton is blended with Syrah and Grenache. Massive, massive wine. Big fruit, big structure, big balls…in fact three. On the palate, big black fruit that seems to resonate with angst. Huge structure with rich tannins; long, long, long on the mouth; a rich oak finish.

•2005 Zinfandel Port, Paso Robles- A sensual delight...Zinfandel left on the vine to maximum ripeness. Fermented slowly until 10 Brix and then added 2 year Oak Aged Brandy to stop the fermentation. Aged in small French oak barrels for 20 months. Layers of rich, velvety raspberry fruit and spice trails into a silky caramel finish. This Zinfandel Port will seduce you. Serve with chocolate, candlelight and a willing companion...

•2005 Syrah Port, Paso Robles- Liquid Velvet... Syrah harvested at maximum ripeness from the Kiler Canyon Vineyard. The wine was aged in small French oak barrels for twenty-four months. Seductive layers of rich berry fruit and spice trail into a silky caramel finish. Serve with chili spiced chocolate and a willing companion. Creative consumption is encourage...

Grey Wolf Cellars

•2007 Viognier “Yukon Gold”- Eureka! Struck it rich at last! Only in the most precious of soils can one unearth the jewels of the province. A treasure to behold. The 2007 Viognier is a treat with lively aromatics of pears and stone fruits lead to a peaches and cream conclusion. This single vineyard designate has a straw hue and a hint of minerality.

•2007 Southpaw- The 2007 Southpaw is the first of its kind. It is a blend of Windrock Vineyard Marsanne, Roussanne, and Viognier with Grenache Blanc from Robert Hall Vineyard. The two acre Windrock Vineyard is produced solely for Grey Wolf Cellars. Set atop the ridge of the Santa Lucia Mountains west of Paso Robles, Windrock’s cool climate and rugged soil produce a wine of depth and elegance. Robert Hall’s warm climate on the east side of Paso Robles produces Grenache Blanc with characteristics of apple, grapefruit and a bright acidity that blends well with the full body varietals from Windrock Vineyard. This wine underwent alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in tank and barrel and was blended and aged before bottling. Please enjoy this wine chilled during the warmer months. Due to its complex flavor profile, it pairs well with many salads, appetizers and pastas.

•2006 Zinfandel “The Jackal”- A gift from our cousin, The Jackal. Origin unknown. A mystical red wine to be sure. The 2006 Zinfandel is a fine example of the style of Zin you can find in warmer regions like Paso Robles. A big, forward mouthfeel and fruit explosion in the front of the wine follow to a smooth, jammy middle. Layers of white pepper and spice lend a full-bodied finish to a splendid wine for those who desire Zinfandel with a little attitude.

•2005 Meritage “Lineage”- The paths of heredity in the wolf pack are the purest symbol of a tightly woven thread of existence that wolves share. The Grey Wolf spirit was founded on this ideal. The lineage blend is a tribute to the legacy of the Barton Family winemakers, past, present and future. The 2005 Meritage is a true collaboration of Bordeaux varietals married together in a rich, Californian style. Extended barrel age fosters a wine with an extraordinary mouthfell and complexity. Aromatics of anise and chocolate lead to blackberry front. Soft notes of vanilla and earth carry through to a deep toasty finish. "...another example of just how well blends work in Paso Robles. They often provide more complex and interesting wines than the single varietal offerings. It exhibits an inky/blue/purple color along with a sweet perfume of cassis, licorice, espresso roast, and camphor. Full-bodied with terrific fruit purity, density, and a rich finish, it should drink well for 5-6 years." A bold, expressive wine made from grapes exclusive to the Chanticleer Vineyard in the heart of the Templeton Gap on the Westside of Paso Robles. The vineyard is planted to Syrah, Zinfandel and Petite Sirah and Grey Wolf gladly obtains 100 percent of the fruit. Strict viticulture practice ensures ideal fruit flavors and quantity. This wine is a blend of the most concentrated free-run juice of Syrah and the latest harvest of Petite Sirah and Zinfandel. Thus yielding a rich mouthfeel with a powerful finish. •2005 Cabernet Sauvignon “Alpha”- In the wolf family, the dominant male and female wield the prestige of “Alpha.” This superior distinction was given to our Cabernet Sauvignon by Grey Wolf’s only two winemakers, our two winemakers, our “Alphas.” The 2004 Alpha Cab is most definitely the leader of the pack. Aged over 28 months in barrel, this wine explodes out of the gate with the essence of mint and eucalyptus followed by a cherry filled mouth. Deep cocoa and vanillin mid palate extend through to a firm tannin finish. Great aging wine, but watch out, this dog may bite.

•2006 Zinfandel Barton Family Reserve- A family is a circle of caring-- strong and eternal. Big, dark and delicious. That's the best way to describe our 2006 Reserve. Briary fruit and spice explode from the nose leading you to a mouthful of berry and jam. The finish on this Zinfandel leaves you begging for more. French oak notes showcase a wine worth aging. "Another seriously endowed effort, with beautiful balance and exceptional purity is the 2006 Predator. Possessing a deep ruby/purple hue, sweet tannin, full body, and abundant amounts of fleshy black fruits intermixed with notions of earth, tar and pepper, this is a seriously endowed wine with no hard edges. It should drink well for 7-8 years. BRAVO!" Stealthily lurking in shadows, the predator stalks its prey. Overpowering in nature, yet complex in its finality. A conception of which to stand in awe. The 2006 Predator is an expressive Syrah imbibing an Earth driven experience layered with an essence of oak poised tannin. Aromatics of molasses and dried berry fruit lead to a blueberry front with toasted oak and coffee finish. This Syrah is best indulged with hearty meats or spice laden cuisine. This wine is approachable now, but its prime aging will occur in the next three years. 90% Syrah,10% Grenache

•2006 Zinfandel “Big Bad Wolf”- Evelyn's Estate's "The Big, Bad Wolf" Be wary of both the wolf and his wine. They're irresistable! 2006 marks the fourth offering of Zinfandel from the Evelyn Estate, grown on-site at Grey Wolf Cellars. Grown in the cooler Templeton Gap of Paso Robles, this wine showcases spice and raspberry upfront with solid weight in the center of the wine. Oak influences shade the finish towards longer, more robust style Zinfandel. A more traditional wine with enhanced lasting power for this variety.

•2006 Tempranillo- Tempranillo is rare wine to be found in Paso Robles due to limited planting. Even more rare is to find a Tempranillo worth drinking. We are proud to present our second vintage of this wonderful Spanish grape. The standard of the Rioja region in northern Spain, Tempranillo is a world class grape that only exists in unique locations. We believe the hot day temperatures and soils of Paso Robles are an ideal location to make a quality red wine from this grape. Our 2006 Tempranillo possesses intense aromas of grilled meat and oak, with more subtle notes of tart cranberry and forest floor. Tempranillo is typically characterized by its earthiness and fruitiness, and we greatly enjoy the way the grape matures and ripens in Paso Robles. Due to its natural tannins, this wine is ready to drink now but will be most enjoyable in 2-3 years. Salud!

•2007 La Mezcla (Granache Blanc/Albarino)- A Spanish influenced blend of Garnacha Blanca (Grenache Blanc) and Albariño, La Mezcla rings bright in the nose with aromas of pear, green apple, lime and straw with a hint of stone fruit. In the mouth, the blend tastes brilliantly balanced with crisp acidity and a rich mid-palate that finishes with a little Grenache Blanc tannin. Try it with oysters, clams, ceviche, or just by itself on a hot day! Dawson Creek Vineyard, El Pomar, Templeton.

•2007 Picpoul Blanc-The aroma of candied citrus, anise, and floral hints might just make you stop and reconsider your day. Refreshing in the mouth, this “lip stinger” delights the tongue with bright acidity and a long, stony finish. Serve chilled as an aperitif or pair with a triple cream brie or seafood such as white rockfish or crab. 60 cases produced.

•2006 Points West Roussanne-This blend of Westside Paso Robles fruit hails from the James Berry Vineyard (45%), the Jensen Vineyard (45%), and Blair Zajak’s Vineyard in West Templeton (10%). Russian Oak was used to age this blended beauty, and it is lighter on the oak than we have done in the past. The palate is bright with mineral and white stone fruit, leading to a persistent finish, carried by great acidity and lingering toasty honey. 265 cases produced.

•2006 Glenrose Roussanne-Barrel-fermented in neutral oak, this mellow-golden hued wine gives a bright bouquet of pear, citrus notes, anise, and subtle suggestions of honeysuckle and ginger. Gentle and pleasantly viscous, the Glenrose Roussanne takes its time and finishes softly leaving a trace of minerality on the palate. 130 cases produced.

•2002 Nebbiolo-This wine shows medium to dark ruby red in the glass, with strawberry preserves, bright red currants and light vanilla in the nose. Rich fruit, balanced tannins with a persisting finish. Glenrose Vineyard fruit. 175 cases produced.

•2005 Syrah-The nose of this wine is deep and complex with cassis, smoke and tar. The mouth is rich and lush with black fruit, smoke and sweet oak. This wine has great balance with soft ripe tannins and firm acidity. Glenrose Vineyard fruit. 112 cases produced.

•2004 Cabernet Sauvignon-Big, rich, and structured, this wine shows a dark ruby purple hue in the glass. Lots of black cherry, blackberry and cassis with notes of tobacco and vanilla. This wine has a pleasant oak influence which blends beautifully with the massive dark fruit and leads to an everlasting finish. Chelle Mountain Vineyard, York Mountain AVA.

•2005 Zinfandel-A nose of dark briar-fruit laced with chocolate entices! The Zinfandel is an indulgent treat on the pallet too; silky and luscious with mellow tannins, this full bodied wine finishes just a tad bit sweet. Enjoy with bon bons, dark chocolate, or simply by itself. 100% dry-farmed, organically grown Zinfandel from the Osgood Vinyard.

•2005 Old Hat-Lone Madrone’s Old Hat is a classic Zinfandel-Petite blend (73%-27%). The nose is of smoky clove and nutmeg, progressing to a palate of dark chocolate, red cherries and spice. It has a slight sweetness in the mouth, leading to an extremely long finish. This wine is deep and complex. A beauty! Osgood Vineyard fruit. 250 cases produced.

•2006 Barfandel-Lone Madrone’s Barfandel is a blend of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah and Barbera, the nose on this wine shows cocoa and sour cherry. In the mouth are tastes of smoky oak, loganberry, chocolate and spice. This wine has great balance with chewy, soft tannins, backed up with beautiful acidity and a long, complex finish. Glenrose Vineyard fruit. 98 cases produced.

•2004 Alproja-A blend of 80% Tannat – 20% Merlot.The color is a deep and dense almost black purple, the nose is deep and ponderous with notes of dried dark fruits and cherries, a glimmer of orange peel and a sniff of anise. Thick and rich on the palate but with the juicy vibrancy often found in the Tannat. The finish is long, This wine is incredibly intriguing and brings you back to the bottle to search deeper for the subtle elements that lurk within. An incredible match with a cassoulet and confit of duck. 193 cases produced.

•2005 Tannat-Oh so dark in the glass with a tight complex nose. Juicy red and dark fruit in the mouth, with beautiful structure and length. This finish shows firm yet not aggressive tannins. Decant and drink now or cellar for a few years to let this Basque varietal reach its potential. Glenrose Vineyard fruit. 215 cases produced.

•2007 Bristols Cider-A blend made from Paso Robles and See Canyon apples, the cider glows a light pale gold and has a nose of fresh apples and cream. The slight effervescence and strong acidity complement the delicate apple flavors in the mouth. And at 6.5% alcohol, it won’t end your day early! Neil would have it with pork, rabbit, pickled onions, or a variety of artisan cheddar cheeses, and probably while watching football (the kind where you use your feet.) Serve well-chilled.

•2007 Sweet Cheeks-This wine is lush and golden, sweet to the palate, the very essence of Viognier – fat with apricots, peaches and the like, bursting at the seams with vanilla and cream. Serve it ice cold, the rest is up to you.

•2006 Barbera-Back by popular demand, the Barbera is a rich toffee-butterscotch-mocha-volcano erupting into a mass of boysenberry, blueberry and cherry preserves! Spicy watermelon peppercorns rain down for a week after.

•2007 Zin of Steel-Oh what a delectable variety of fruit emanates from the bouquet of the deeply hued Zin of Steel! We found plum, strawberry and raspberry preserves, ruby red grapefruit, black cherry, pomegranate, mangosteen and dragon fruit with hints of beet, peppercorn, licorice and toasted pine nuts! Fresh tannins and crisp acidity make this wine a perfect BBQ companion. Serve chilled from the fridge and enjoy on a hot summer afternoon!

•2006 Il Toyon Syrah-With a chewy, rich nose of marionberry, vanilla and a hint of tar, the Il Toyon Syrah is soft and luscious in the mouth. Firm, yet pleasant tannins are the pier under which a river of strawberries, cherries, and cream flows, finishes smoothly, and conjures up a smile. Terra Bella Vineyard fruit.

•2006 Bailey Ranch Zinfandel-Vibrant red fruit thrice over, and with conviction! Candied red apple, ollalieberry and cherry aromas, with notes of pepper and nutmeg, lead to a full, juicy red fruit palate supported by youthful tannins. Days of flavor slowly fade as a receding tide of crushed red fruit specked with red apple peel and pomegranate.

•2007 Luna Rose-The color is a fantastic pastel pink with aromas of fresh tropical fruits, including papaya and melon. The crisp summer fruit mouthfeel is mixed with a hint of sweetness and vanilla on the finish. This is a great summer wine that surprises all palates. Delicious!

•2006 Aurora-This wine is wonderfully crisp with a nose full of tropical fruits and coconut. The mouthfeel is rich and luxurious as flavors of mango, pineapple, and banana cascade over the palate. A spicy coconut essence lingers well into the finish. A Clean and crisp white wine…perfect for summer sipping!

•2006 Chardonnay Estate Reserve-This is an extracted, full-bodied Chardonnay. The nose is full of green apple, fig and vanilla. The mouth feel is rich with pronounced flavors of honey, apple, pear, and ginger balanced with toasty vanilla. There is a nice long finish that is accented with minerals and oak. This is a slight departure from our normal style with a little more “butter” and a little more oak. A great pairing with richer fare.

•2006 Pinot Noir-The color is a beautiful delicate bright cherry. The nose has an elegant array of strawberry, mint, spice and cranberry. The mouthfeel is well balanced with amazing flavors of ripe strawberry, eucalyptus, & spice and accented with flavors of morel mushrooms and vanilla. The finish is soft and delicate with essences of French oak and white pepper lasting long into the next sip.

•2005 Full Moon Red Wine

The Full Moon Red is a user friendly, lighter styled, everyday wine. Bright red fruit, (think strawberries and raspberries) with just a little oak and spice. Soft tannins glide easily into the next sip. This is our “while cooking dinner” wine. Easy going but interesting enough to drink with anything. Seriously.

•2005 Estate Merlot-This wine is our 7th edition of Estate Merlot, The color is strikingly dark and the nose has concentrated flavors of plum, black fruit and spice. The mouthfeel is incredibly large and wildly intense with flavors of black cherry, plum, leather and minerals dancing brightly on the palate. All that and framed firmly by balanced acidity and tannins. An impossibly long finish lingers with minerals and distinguished spiciness. A wonderful, full-bodied Merlot that even the snootiest Cab lover will enjoy!!

•2005 Cabernet Franc-The color is very dark and the nose is huge with extracted flavors of ripe black fruit, spice, and roasted vanilla bean exploding out of the glass. The mouthfeel is big with ripe flavors of Bing cherry, plum, and cassis are framed by toasty oak. The finish is long and spicy with well balanced tannins and acidity flowing into the next sip.

•2005 Cabernet Sauvignon - "Nebula"-This wine has a beautiful, dark ruby color. The nose is filled with aromas of dark cherry and plum accented with oak and spice. Full bodied in the mouth with flavors of black cherry, plum, and blackberry joined together with a dash of spice. The firm tannins follow through and shape the long finish of berries, mixed with oak and a minerally spiciness. This wine deserves a juicy, grilled ribeye!

•2005 Zinfandel - "Crescent"-This wine is a big, thick, ripe-style Paso Zinfandel. The color is very dark and the aromas are big and full of spicy fruit. Flavors of blackberry, strawberry, white pepper and minerals intermingle on the palate. The finish is strong and long. Perfect for spicy pasta or BBQ pork. This one is for the big Paso Zin lovers of the world!

•2006 Estate Zinfandel-The color is a beautiful, bright ruby. The aromas explode in the nose with an array of spices, red raspberry and mixed dark fruits. The mouthfeel is enormous, filled with flavors of peach cobbler, red raspberry, allspice, grains and earthy essences cascading playfully on the palate. The finish is long and fruit filled. 100% Zinfandel from the Midnight Estate Vineyard. This is a big-boy, fruit-driven Zin. A crowd pleaser!

•2005 Gemini-This delicious blend of zinfandel and syrah is sure to send your palate to pure bliss. Bright notes of pepper, blueberries, blackberries invade the nose and appear on the palate with hints of nutmeg and spice.

•2004 Mare Nectaris-A beautiful, succulent dark, brick red wine. The nose takes some time to explore its nuances with a complex array of ripe black fruits, vanilla, anise and other spices. It continually changes and evolves with new aromas to explore every five minutes. The rich mouthfeel is filled with essences of black cherry, plum, black raspberry, leather and an array of spices that mingle playfully on the palate. All that, and impossibly long finish residing within a firm framework of oak tannins!

Peachy Canyon

•2006 Incredible Red-This wine should be a standard on your dinner table. It possesses bright fruit mild acid and an elegant finish that makes it a very food friendly wine that is reasonably priced.

•2006 Westside Zinfandel-First notice the opulent color of this wine. Beautifully balanced with minty cloves and minerality that are complimented by spice and a hint of sweet chocolate. Enjoy with a rack of lamb.

•2006 Snow Zinfandel-The most care possible was taken to ensure only the finest fruit was used for this wine. Three separate pickings accomplished this. The fruit characteristics are endless on the palate making this our jammy zinfandel full of strawberries, blueberries and blackberries.

•2006 Old School House Zinfandel-Our most elegant zinfandel of the vineyard designate line up. The cool climate allows for a slow ripening season with few raisins. The result is a wine that possess fruity aromas with nice structure, spice and balance.

•2006 Mustang Springs Zinfandel-This wine has great depth visually and on the palate. By fermenting the Petite Sirah with the Zinfandel, it provides a solid back bone for structure but does not over power the zinfandel characteristics of blueberry and spice that are dominant.

•2006 Vortex Zinfandel-The ripest of our Peachy Canyon Zinfandels and a favorite amongst our fans! Big fruit but nicely balanced with black & white pepper to ensure its fruit is not over powered by hints of chocolate. Delicious!

•2006 BFD Zinfandel-The two Estate Vineyards brought their unique terroir to this wine since they are the same clone from different sites. Beautiful black pepper and spicy raspberry add to the elegance of this wine.

•2006 Especial Zinfandel-The perfectly balanced fruit from this vineyard is very apparent in the flavors of this wine. Mild sweet vanilla, light spices and blackberry essence. An elegant wine with a full mouth feel.

•2005 Cirque Du Vin-The first thing you will notice is the dark garnet color. The flavor follows... beautiful integrated oak, smooth and graceful herb notes. Textured layers of fruit, earthy, but not to heavy with great vibrancy at the same time.

•2005 Petite Sirah-The visual appeal of this dark purple wine fills your glass with beauty and is accompanied by aromas of fresh leather and tobacco, layered by hints of vanilla. The full mouth feel is approachable with elegant tannins that melt into flavors of bacon fat and dark berry fruits. Enjoy the power of this wine now or lay it down for the next 5 to 7 years.

•2005 Mr. Wilson's Merlot-This Merlot is a stellar wine with mesmerizing deep colors and mouth watering tannins followed by touches of vanilla and cinnamon that linger well into your next sip.

•2005 Para Siempre-Beautiful color followed by gorgeous lush fruit, elegant cocoa and wild tannins. This wine is a keeper so buy a few extra bottles to cellar for at least the next 7 to 10 years.

•2005 Vesuvio-This unique individual stands out in the Peachy Canyon line up. Concentrated flavors of sweet oak and spice, this wines elegance needs to be sampled by all of Peachy Canyon fans to truly appreciate our versatility.

•2007 Viognier-This is our first white wine in four years and it's a beauty! A lovely golden-straw color, with citrus and pineapple notes on the nose. Lush apples, oranges, sweet vanilla and pears open gradually in your mouth leading to a finish that has a touch of crisp minerality to balance the rich fruit. This is a white wine for red lovers and it pairs well with various shellfish.

•Port V(375 ml)-This is a blend of 5 vintages, starting with vintage 2000. The Port is made in a tawny style, it is smooth and easy drinking. There are also some ruby port characteristics. Flavors of toffee, caramel, chocolate, strawberry, bluberry syrup and roasted cashew.

•2007 Blue Suede Dessert Wine 350ML-If you enjoyed our 2005 Blue Suede you will love the 2006. Made from 100% late harvest syrah this "port"style wine is begging for an exotic chocolate dessert or perhaps a great cigar. While this is no 30 year old tawny port it will satisfy all those deep desires for a pleasing after dinner wine that goes with fine cheeses and desserts. So make your next dinner party just that much more unique by offering your guests a small pour of this wonderful after dinner wine. Better yet, have a glass over a couple of ice cubes at the end of a hard day relaxing in your favorite. chair.

•2007 Loverboy-Semi Dry Rose’ Syrah-This is our "bad boy or girl" wine. Made from the same great grapes our Loose Laces Rose' is made from, with one exception, we left about 2% residual sugar in the wine to to give it a nice round mouth feel that creates the perfect summer's day wine. Great while grilling outdoors this wine is just at home in the early evening while you wind down from a long day at work. We like to think of this rose' as our everyday...any day wine, no appointments necessary.

•2006 Syrah, Miracles Ranch-Toulon, France, 1975. The sun is just setting to the west as we pull into this southern French port known for it's wine and "the veille ville" (old town). The ship bringing me to this port is no tramp steamer, but one of Uncle Sam's best and newest fast frigates. Not far from Toulon is the Rhone region and over the next 3 days I found some of the best wines I had ever tasted. What impressed me most was a bottling from the Cote' Rote' area of the Rhone. Our 2006 Syrah is done in the traditiional Cote' Rote' style of using small amounts of Viognier along with Syrah grapes, bring me back to that place and time.

•2007 Flip-Flop (Blend of Chardonnay and Vionier)-Every year we just can't decide if we like our Chardonnay or Viognier better. So we blend them to taste and every year we have a winner. The 2007 wine is full of peaches and pears with just a hint of tropical fruit undertones. Years ago while traveling in Northern Italy near Lake Lugano we had a great white wine made from Cortese (Gavi) and Moscato grapes. Nicely balance this seductive wine reminds us of that trip and will transport you to another time and place.

•2006 Zinfandel, Miracles Ranch-My first wine tour ever was at the Old Italian Swiss Colony Winery on Hwy. 101 just north of Santa Rosa in Asti, California. Come on...you remember that little old wine maker, 'me'. Asti is surrounded today by some of the best Zinfandel vineyards in the state. What I remember most about that visit was a dark full bodied red that smelled of blackberry layered with boysenberry and hints of chocolate. As it turns out, much of the old winemaker's wine had a backbone of Zinfandel. Our 2006 vintage reminds me of that pure Zinfandel heritage.

•2006 Stiletto (Late Harvest Viognier) 500 ML-We’re not talking high heeled sneakers here. This wine is six inch Prada’s worn with black silk stocking. Exotic does not even begin to describe where this wine is headed. Before dinner as an aperitif to help you unwind or after just because it’s there, this wine will bring a smile to your face. When I first tasted this wine in tank I thought it was so good, we just had to bottle it in a larger package than a typical 375mm bottle that most dessert or late harvest wines come in. Good news for you, more wine same price.You find the Devil in the red dress! Silver Medal winner & Best of Class South-Central Coast Appellation, California State Fair. Bronze Medal San Francisco Internation Wine Competition '07. Bronze Medal, Long Beach Grand Cru.

•2004 Cabernet, Paso Robles-This is the only wine in our line up that is not grown and produced by us. When we thought we would be open for business in mid-2006, we wanted a great Cabernet to open with while our 2005 Cabernet aged in barrel. We tasted over 75 wines representing every wine growing region within California and found this wine right here in our own back yard. It was made by Steve Rasmussen from Talley Vineyards and Winery. It’s a great example of what Paso Robles has to offer!

•2007 Loose Laces, Dry Rose' (80%SYRAH/20% VIOGNIER)-Rose wines have come a long way baby. Remember those "blush" wines we would drink before we discovered red wine. Even today most of us are still afraid to admit that we even drink rose' wines. But you are now on the leading edge of the fastest growth segment within the wine industry...rose' wines. This time the wines are serious with a capital S and can be matched with almost anything. Our 2007 Loose Laces is one of the new breed rose's. Loaded with cherry and gooseberry this wine explodes with super ripe fruit and has a lingering finish that will put you away!

•2006 Kick-Off-This is the blend that staarted it all, 40% Petite Sirah, 40% Zinfandel and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. In 2004 Cheryl and I decided to stomp a few grapes that had been left behind from that day's harvest for the Robert Mondavi Winery. The 2006 Kick-Off has it all, big bold fruit, soft tannins and a long lingering finish. It reminds us of a wine we had in a little cafe on the Costa Brava, Spain some thirty years ago. The wine was from an emerging region called the Ribero del Duero known for its fruit forward blended wines.

Rotta

•Proprietor's Cabernet Sauvignon, 2005, 750 ml-Upfront berry fruit, with a full middle body, and long finish showing the varietal flavors of Cabernet Sauvignon. French oak aromas and vanilla flavors from barrel aging fill the mouth, but are not astringent. Complements rich meats such as steaks, venison, and duck.

•Cabernet Franc, Paso Robles, 2004, 750 ml-Cassis, violet and French oak aromas jump from the glass to entice one to drink this aromatic, smooth and flavorful wine. The long, lingering flavor of this wine makes one want a second glass. There are a very limited number of cases of this rare wine. This wine stands up well to grilled and roasted meats, as well as, game.

•Merlot, Paso Robles, 2005, 750 ml-This Merlot has ripe fruit and berry aromas, a soft, yet full body with a very smooth finish. A very popular wine with meats, grilled vegetables, and creamy flavored cheeses, like Brie, Blue and Cheddar.

•Rotta Reserve Merlot, Paso Robles, 2004, 750 ml-Full to the palate, the berry and varietal aromas jump out in the nose. Strong oak flavors, but not overwhelming, this wine will go well paired with meats, grilled vegetables, and creamy flavored cheeses, like Brie, Blue and Cheddar. This wine will offer increased elegance for the next 10 years.

•Estate Zinfandel, 2004, 750 ml-Floral, extremely fruity Zinfandel aromas and intense Zinfandel flavor. The rich, full body of this wine balances the ripeness of the wine and softens the higher alcohol.

• Heritage Zinfandel, 2005, 750 ml-Inherited from our ancestors, maintained in the present and bestowed for the benefit of future generations. This wine is sure to arouse your senses with scents of wild berry, plums and pepper. You will be coming back for more! Firm tannins and a long finish makes this wine balance well with grilled foods, barbecue and pasta dishes.

•Zinfandel Rose, 2007, California 750 ml-This is a limited production wine from our award winning vineyards.This Zinfandel Rose is dry farmed with a soft and light crisp flavor, with hints of strawberries and rose petals. This is a great wine for any occasion!

•Trinity, 2004, 750 ml 100% Boneso Vineyard-40%Cabernet Sauvignon/40%Cabernet Franc/20% Merlot 

The "Trinity" of wine was created by blending select barrels of 3 noble wines, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. This 10 barrel blend was then additionally aged in new French Oak for 18 months after assembling the blend. Its French Oak & vinous aroma are complemented with elegant flavors and rich smooth body. Due to the small production of only 292 cases, this wine will be limited to only a few wine lovers.

•Chardonnay, Monterey, 2006, 750 ml-The grape-fruity and pear aromas are balanced by the vanilla flavor from oak barrel aging. The crisp tartness provides a clean finish for the wine to be enjoyed lightly chilled on a hot day, and pairs beautifully with seafood.

•Zinfandel Port, 2005-The sweet Berry-like aromas are accentuated by the full flavor of the Zinfandel grape. The heavy, smooth, flavors fill your mouth with memories of the 70 year old vines that struggled to produce this dreamy wine. A perfect special gift for that special person.

•Black Monukka, 2004, 375 ml-The Caramelized, Nutty and Vanilla aromas of this baked cream sherry reveal the flavor of the Black Monukka grapes that produced this wine. •2006 Syrah

•2005 Syrah-A classic California Syrah with a Southern Rhone twist. Brickish red in color, smoky oak and dark plum on the nose followed by subtle spice box and bacon fat. The mouthfeel is viscous and rich with a slightly graphite finish. Quite balanced and food friendly. Muscular, dark and handsome like Denzel Washington in Malcolm X.

•2004 Syrah-This 100% Syrah is for the adventurous oenophile, not afraid of a few stained teeth. It’s big alright, as the opaque deep purple/blue color would suggest. Blue fruits and leather on the nose are softened by vanilla beans and violets. In the mouth the bold tannins give way to reveal plum, black tea leaf and a hint of pepper. This unctuous wine will transform a great meal into sheer nirvana. If this wine were an actor it would be Johnny Depp in Pirates Of The Caribbean.

•2006 Raucous-Opaque, dense and chewy best describes this wine. A blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Syrah and Grenache, these strange bedfellows make good company. Playing off of each other’s strengths in a symphony of rich black cherry, chocolate and blueberry, the complexity seems endless much like the finish, seamlessly framed with sweet vanilla and a touch of smoky oak. 50% Syrah, 20% Petite Syrah, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Grenache

•2006 Cabernet Sauvignon-We source this fabulous fruit from the organically farmed Starr Ranch on the far west side of Paso Robles. 3 Taransaud French oak barrels were home for 24 months which may explain the sweet oak frame. One of the few 100% Cabernet Sauvignon’s made in Paso Robles, this wine is varietally true with briar patch, chocolate, vanilla and licorice on the nose followed by flavors of black cherry, blackcurrant/cassis and a hint of spice rack on the finish.

•2006 Estate Cuvee-This blend of Syrah and Petite Syrah brings the best of both worlds together. The shy earthy tones of the Syrah such as wild mushrooms, forest floor, and leather are brought to the party by the gregarious intense traits of the Petite Syrah such as roasted meat, graphite, blue fruits and violets. Patience will be rewarded with this wine, but drinks well now. Drink or hold through 2015. 50% Syrah , 50% Petite Syrah

•2006 Estate Syrah-A mere 75 cases were made of this Cornas-style, very food friendly wine. Harvested from 3 different climatic zones on only 3 acres, this is truly the most interesting Syrah we’ve made yet. The plummy fruit is seasoned with exotic sandalwood notes and supported by an oaky vanilla finish. This wine is showing beautifully now, but will improve for 3-5 years and evolve gracefully for at least a decade.

•2006 Estate Petite Syrah-Consistently we get an old world style of wine from this home vineyard and this Petite is no exception. Inky dark with violets, blueberries and tar, yet surprisingly approachable mouthwatering tannins grace the graphite finish. This wine is ready to drink now, but will continue to improve for 3-5 years. It will cellar beautifully for at least a decade.

Windward

•2006 "Monopole" Pinot Noir-Once again great conditions for ideal Pinot noir growth and development prevailed and Windward Vineyard delighted us by bringing forth a luscious and well balanced “Vendange”. At just under 2.8 tons/acre the chemistries following harvest were perfect and reflected great promise for a wine that would demonstrate attainment of Windward Vineyards unique profile. Seeped in deep mineralization: a wild strawberry bouquet, bright red ripe Bing Cherry flavors on its entrance, a sensuous velvety middle and a long “Peacock Tail” finish that explodes with its layered complexity. This one like previous Windward drinks beautifully now or will lie down for the next 20 years.

•2006 Gold "Barrel Select" Pinot Noir-Marc has chosen his favorite 10 barrels for this select bottling. The Gold reflects the inner core of the vintage with an intense Burgundian profile of ripe, Bing cherry and wild strawberry. The selection of only two of the 4 clones in the vineyard produced a more intense fruit forward density and a wider flow in the middle of the mouth. Again the velvet texture whispers the long cellar life anticipated.

•2005 Monopole Pinot Noir-is an expression of all four clones that are grown in our vineyard. Each clone brings its own characteristic to the wine in the final blend as evident in the previous vintages. A feminine floral aroma with bright red cherry and strawberry on the front of the palate, which feathers back into the typical Windward peacock tail finish of earth and mineralization with a subtle hint of oak. The long finish suggests a wine with potential longevity, which is a testament to the vineyard and the Burgundian style of wine that we strive to produce.

•2005 Gold "Barrel Select" Pinot Noir-Following his previous years instincts, Marc has once again chosen his favorite 10 barrels for this select bottling. The Gold reflects the inner core of the vintage with an intense Burgundian profile of ripe bing cherry and wild strawberry. Again the velvet texture whispers the long cellar life anticipated.

Zenaida

•The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon estate fruit was hand harvested, de-stemmed, and allowed to cold soak 48 hours before fermenting in small 200-gallon open top lots. During the fermentation process the must was manually punched down twice daily and given specifically timed “de le stage” for approximately 20 days then gently pressed. The wine was then aged in 100% select fine grain French oak for 20 months. This wine exhibits a balance of rich black cherry tempered with black licorice, cocoa and moderate tannin. Cases Produced: 514

• The Syrah plantings are farmed sustainably and given a subsistence rationing of water and organic mulch fertilizer. The "magic mulch" blend is produced on site from previous vintage pommace and other organic remedies. Spoon feeding and the natural conditions of the location produce crop yields between 1-2 1/2 tons per acre. The fruit was cold soaked for 24 hours and open top fermented. After approximately 20 days maceration and manual punch-downs, the must was gently pressed, and the wine was aged 15 months in French, Hungarian, and North American oak barrels. 350 cases were produced. • A vineyard block designate, “Hell Block” on the western edge of the ranch is the most exposed and generally experiences the coldest Spring and Fall conditions of the vineyard plantings. This small block with well drained soils, and harsher conditions restrict vigor in the plant producing smaller more concentrated berries with a higher acid content. • In keeping with Zenaida minimalist style, our micro produced, Estate grown Zinfandel, is made from vines that are water rationed and spoon fed home made organic mulch. The vineyard is located in near perfect growing conditions at the base of the Santa Lucia Mountains. We utilize sustainable agriculture practices to produce wines that are predominantly fruit forward and express our unique west side terroir. After an open top, small lot fermentation, the wine is aged for 18 months in select French, Hungarian, and Northern American oak barrels. The wine is deeply layered with dark fruits and wild berries, followed by lingering mild white pepper. Cases Produced: 561

• ZC Red is true to it’s namesake, straight forward uncomplicated red wine for everyday occasions. ZC Red is made using our traditional winemaking methods, including a 48 hour cold soak, whole berry/open top fermentation, but with less emphasis on oak allowing for a truer varietal expression. The blend is 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Syrah and 23% Cabernet Franc grown entirely on the home vineyard. This wine was designed to compliment a wide range of cuisine. Unmasked varietal components with well balanced tannin and acidity, give this wine flavors of anise, ripened cherry and pomegranate. Cases Produced: 909

• ZC White is the counterpart to ZC Red. A wine designed to be enjoyed with food on everyday occasions. The wine is comprised of 90% Chardonnay, and 10% Viognier. Our Estate vineyard is located in the Templeton Gap area on Highway 46 West. Cooler growing conditions in this region produce Chardonnay with crisp acidity and flavors of citrus, pear and pineapple. We blend the Chardonnay with the more floral and aromatic Viognier to produce a wine that is entirely refreshing and full bodied without overusing oak. 100% of the Viognier and was stainless steel fermented. The Chardonnay lot was split 90/10 between tank and barrel fermentation, with 10% of the lot aged in new Hungarian oak barrels. The 2007 vintage went through partial malolactic fermentation for a slightly creamy mid-pallet. Cases Produced: 737

•2006 Zinfandel-Frank’s philosophy of winemaking is “let the vines do the work.” The dry-farmed, head pruned vines produce a very intense and fruit driven wine. The estate grown Zinfandel is a rich and concentrated wine with dark fruit, spice and hints of black cherry. It is a mouth-filling, full-bodied wine with a lot of complexity. This intensely concentrated wine has a classic “West-side” Zinfandel finish with flavors of cedar, juicy black cherry, white pepper and a slight teasing of tobacco.

•2006 Zinfandel Port-This extremely limited production of Zinfandel Port had been released on a first-come, first-served allocation. With only 150 cases, we expect the port to sell out quickly. Our port is crafted in the true Portuguese style and made from 100% Zinfandel grapes grown on the Nerelli estate. It is an elegant port with intense berry, vanilla and spice flavors. This fortified Port has a rich, concentrated, smooth feel on the palette. It boasts a complex mouth-feel and long finish with dark fruit, intense raspberry, and a hint of chocolate lingering on the pallette.
